I purchased a RGB Scart cable to get colour on the 60hz mode and it seemed to work fine on the 42" LG LCD in the sitting room but now i've moved it into my room i am having issues. S-Video Output for SNES 2 / Junior (SNN-CPU) Y/C video exists at the RGB encoder on the SNES 2 units, but Nintendo decided not to connect it to the Multi AV port.

i have this led, and im not sure what resistor to use to drop the 5v current to an appropriate voltage and produce the appropriate current.. the LED is rated at 200mA, but the data sheet says i should apply 150mA through it. my micro-controller outputs 5v i think, but im not sure as i do not have a multimeter, but i apply 5v to the vcc of the micro-controller. You seem a bit confused about the advantages of RGB over S-Video. Is it better? Yes. Is it worth it? That's up to you. The capacitors are indeed the problem, and by bypassing them you will make the cable work on your PAL SNES (but not a SNESjr).
